Delaware Urban Greens

Building Community Stability Through Food, Wellness, and Capacity Building.

Delaware Urban Greens (DUG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization strengthening communities across Delaware through access to nourishing food, whole-person wellness, and sustainable systems.

Delaware Urban Greens builds ecosystems that make long-term wellness possible.

Our work is anchored in three pillars:

Nourishment & Food Systems

Expanding access to fresh, plant-forward food in communities impacted by social determinants of health.

Whole-Person Wellness

Creating restorative wellness experiences that support mental, physical, and emotional well-being.

Community Stability & Capacity Building

Strengthening institutions, educators, families, and neighborhoods so they can thrive with dignity and resilience.

Nourish & Nurture Wellness Retreats

POUR™ A Whole-Person Wellness

Professionally facilitated, on-site wellness experiences designed to reduce stress, increase access to restorative care, and strengthen the environments where people live and work.

Each retreat integrates nourishment, mindfulness, and practical restoration tools delivered within the rhythm of the day.

Tower Gardens

Delaware Urban Greens installs vertical growing systems designed for fresh food production and nourishment. By placing growing systems directly into community, organizational, and residential environments, we expand access, support local food ecosystems, and promote healthier lifestyles.

We also provide initial programming guidance to help integrate growing systems into education, wellness, and food access initiatives.
